May 4-9, 2025, Spring Insight Meditation Retreat with Dawn Neal

This will be a silent mindfulness retreat with alternating sitting and walking meditation, instruction, Dharma talks, work meditation, and practice discussions with the teacher.

The Quaker Center in Ben Lomond, CA, is located approximately 45 minutes north of Santa Cruz, California, and approximately an hour southwest of San Jose International Airport. This rustic center is surrounded by the deep forest of the Santa Cruz Mountains. It includes a beautiful –and steep– walk uphill to the meditation hall. There is no cost for this retreat; it is a gift of generosity (Dana).

July 29-August 3, Abbot Doshin Mako Voelkel and Dawn Neal will be offering a 5-day retreat on Cultivating Bodhisattva Virtues at the beautiful Tassajara Zen Mountain Center. Registration is currently open (no lottery or wait list).
